Food...... what Definition are you supporting?


Did you know there are two very different definitions to the word


Definition – “Material, usually of plant or animal origin, that contains or consists of essential body nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals, and is ingested and assimilated by an organism to produce energy, stimulate growth, and maintain life.”

Legal definition

“Some countries list a legal definition of food. These countries list food as any item that is to be processed, partially processed, or unprocessed for consumption. The listing of items included as foodstuffs include any substance intended to be, or reasonably expected to be, ingested by humans. In addition to these foodstuffs, drink, chewing gum, water, or other items processed into said food items are part of the legal definition of food.”

I don’t know about you but I want my food to be of the first definition, real whole food not bits and pieces that have been mechanically separated and processed into something that may taste good but has little to no nutritional value.

Mother Nature provided us with all the per-packaged fast foods we need and they come perfectly balanced so our bodies recognize and can utilize every bit of it for proper energy, growth, to promote and sustain great health.  Your health and the health of your family is all up to you………..
